Enlightenment

What the mind can put us through...
A maze of many delicate intricacies,
known not, or fully understood to the simple man,
A place to retreat when times are bad,
A place to rejoice when times are good,
A place to create a story,
A place to build a dream,
A place all too easy to find ones self...
So completely lost... alone,

But with each mind,
Attached in some un-understood way,
Lies a beating heart,
And a thriving soul...

It is, in a delicately balanced collage,
Of these three necessities of life, of man
That one may find enlightenment,
A melding of mind, heart and soul,
Approached as a whole,Rather than separate spaces,
To be conquered each in it's own turn,
That a person may find peace and solace in one's inner self,

Ones inner self...
A coming together of the mind, heart and soul,
To form a place of beauty, of freedom...

Of enlightenment.
