1) Added the new Writers Links Portal. In an attempt to make our website more useful to the writing community, we have added a new section to this site called the Writers Links Portal. This new area will feature links to, hopefully, every aspect of writing, from inspiration to the publishing process. If anyone reading this newsletter either has a web site dedicated to writing or knows of one, please feel free to submit their URL to us so we can index it. 2) We would like to welcome Cynthia Freadrich to our columnist staff. Her work will focus mainly on poetry and we are honored to have her aboard. |

After a brief delay, we have finally published our March Issue. Thanks to everyone who submitted their material early and for their patience. I have recently added a new area to our magazine. As mentioned above, this area will become an index of links to great writing resources, from personal writing sites to large publishing indexes, our goal is to provide as deep and rich of a writing resource for our readers and writers as possible. I have mentioned that I am thinking of putting together some kind of hard copy edition of the Blitzkrieg. My staff an I have been looking into the logistics of such a venture and it looks as though we are leaning towards a possible quarterly publication send to the homes of our mailing list members. Before we can publish anyone's works, however, we would need signed confirmation by each author published stating its OK to publish their work before we can send out the final hard copy. Another issue with putting out a hard copy edition is that we would have to choose who's work would be published. This kind of goes against the spirit of our magazine. This is why we would 'market' (we use this term very loosely) each hard copy edition more or less as a sampling of what we, our contributors and staff, are trying to accomplish inside the Blitzkrieg every month, not some kind of 'popularity' or 'best of' contest. I would love to hear everyone's opinion on this subject, since without our writers, we would not have a publication in the first place. Speaking of mailing lists, it seems as though some have had trouble joing the list via the listbot graphic on the front page.
