The traditional meaning for the term columnist usually refers to a biased article published in a news paper or magazine. Our publication, however, uses this term to describe our writers who submit new work (s) for publication in every upcoming issue of Blitzkrieg Magazine.

The chief benefit of being a Blitzkrieg Columnist is having your work kept inside a special web page, which is dedicated to that writers work(s).  {Visit Ghost's Poetry Page to see and example}.

By having their own work page, the author's work can be found and read easier by a Magazine reader (when compared to non-columnist works).

Any topic is acceptable (needs to be cleared by Blitzkrieg Staff). The only requirement is that the column have some overall idea/topic that focus' all the works linked to the column page in some way. These focus' could be as general as a collection of an author's poetry to something more specific as an authors ongoing critique of American Films. By doing this, the reader will have a good idea of what each column's works is going to be about. 

It is very easy to become a columnist for the Blitzkrieg.

1. Any perspective columnist must submit 3 works before applying for the title
2. Every Columnist must agree to submit at least 1 new work per monthly issue of Blitzkrieg Magazine.

Not much to it. If a Columnist has trouble meeting these deadlines, however, please e-mail us at blitzmag@hotmail.com with the nature of your problem. Most problems can be worked out with little hassle.

Yes. As long as each column has a distinctly different topic/focus and the author can maintain the 'submit once an issue per column' requirements.

Answer to both is No. Since the spirit of the Blitzkrieg Magazine is of open publication, we neither charge or pay any of our writers for their work.
