In need of a soul

Emptiness eats my soul, like cancer in a dying man
Emptiness kills my soul, all I can do is to watch and try to understand
Only silence it's been spoken, but in so many words
You hide underneath your blanket, mine was the cry you heard

When the night has fallen, and the black smoke lays thick in your room
When only the stars light up the night and I can hide my ugly soul
You count the ghost within your head, and repeat every word they said
I count the nights that I have left, before the days will cease to come

And now the only way to me to survive, is to take another man 's life
I need your soul for I've lost mine, I need your pain to manage trough the night
Grab your pillow tight, the black smoke has fallen
Hold on to your soul, when you let go all that 'll be left is your skin
